We are seeking a quality candidate to join a boutique freight forwarder in Brunswick.
Although we’re looking for someone with experience in freight forwarding, this role could be ideal for anyone with a strong admin and accounts background.
Some of the duties expected include; answering and transferring of phone calls, creditor processing, handling incoming/outgoing mail, invoicing and general admin work.
- an ability to readily learn and adapt to the internal accounts module with the ability to navigate around some other parts of the system when looking up information
- an ability to use already set up / formatted documents and up keep the same (Word) as well as handle, add to, organise spreadsheets (Excel).
Our client doesn’t necessarily need the successful candidate to know how to create documents or workbooks from scratch, though if that happened it would be a bonus – just to have the skill and confidence to use, add to, change and so on, details in existing Accounts Dept records, Client’s charging sheets, etc.
We need you to have a strong ability to concentrate on the data entry tasks involved in an accounts role and be ready to work as part of this great team.
