After almost 20 years as a resident of Napier St. in Essendon, Future Force has upgraded to a new facility. While sad to leave Napier Street, we’re excited by our new digs.
There are multiple reasons behind the move, not the least of which is the discovery that Covid-19 has forced upon us, and that is the ability for staff to work remotely. The requirement for large office areas has become somewhat redundant for us, so a smaller, more modern and more efficient location has been sourced.
We are now located on Level 2, at 333 Keilor Rd Essendon on the corner of Ogilvie St & Keilor Rd.
You may recognise the building as the “Hughes O’Dea Corredig” (accountants) building. Level 1 within the same building houses “Hughes Legal”.
We now reside in modern facilities, which include large and small interview and meeting rooms, a professional reception and waiting area, and for our staff we even have a lovely, modern, fully appointed kitchen! Happy days!
The new premises has plenty of street parking for visitors, and is serviced by the no. 59 tram along Keilor Rd.
We’ve taken the opportunity to upgrade some of our IT systems in order to provide 24 hour remote access for all staff which is particularly handy, especially for the trainers. Our remote training requires an up to date platform to match the outstanding work put in to ensure the training material remains relevant, up to date and visually appealing for the learners.
As such we’ve been hard at work. Working to upgrade our regulated Certificate level courses to the new Transport & Logistics Industry standard, as well as producing some interesting and valuable on-line short courses (e.g. Freight Calculations / CoR ….). The trainees and those taking on a certificate level course will love the upgrades, which make the learning experience more fun, while maintaining our always high standard of great outcomes. Don’t hesitate to ask about them or to even suggest one that might be appropriate for you or your staff.
We wish you well in these difficult times, and hope that once back to normal you can take the time to pop in and say hello in our fantastic new facility.
Future Force was the best fit for me, as I wanted to get into the working field straight after finishing high school.
The best thing about it all is that Future Force offer you excellent schooling about Transport and Logistics as well as providing hands on experience.
My trainer Michael has a lot to do with where I am today, his expertise and persistence in his training has been very helpful within my work.
Since graduating in 2013, I have grown so much within the industry. I have been fortunate to trial different departments to find which best suits me.
The perfect entry point into the world of freight and logistics, extremely skilled and motivated team that really CARE about your career and ambitions, even to the point of keeping touch 5+ years after graduation.
Stefan Sutherland, Business Development ExecutiveBoundless career opportunities in the freight & logistics industry and highly motivated team that help kickstart your professional career. Family like atmosphere, cannot recommend highly enough.
Emir Osmanagic, LCL Product Lead, Australia and New ZealandWhen I started my traineeship, I quickly realised that I had a limited understanding of the industry and experience in an office environment. After meeting weekly with my Future Force trainer for the two year period of my traineeship, I was able to learn about the logistics industry efficiently, while maintaining a comfortable pace for me to grasp concepts strongly. Not only have I built skills within my workplace, but also organisational and life skills.
Declan Broderick, Operations all rounderAs a fresh faced teenager in 2003, I was fortunate enough to commence my traineeship under the guidance of the Future Force team. They provided me the necessary tools to be successfully employed at market leading international freight forwarder, along with comprehensive training, knowledge & skills required to succeed in my position as the national leading cargo insurance sales rep today!
