Founder and co-owner

The trekker, the cyclist, the diplomat.
Prior to becoming a founder and co-owner in Future Force, Tim spent 23 years in the International Freight Industry. That’s a lot of International Freight and Management experience and it includes various Transport & Logistics Certificate IVs, a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from RMIT. From 2001 it’s all been put to good use at Future Force, passing on knowledge to new entrants to the business and helping experienced people further their careers and their qualifications.

Walking in the bush, or at the beach in South West Victoria

Linda

National Training and Compliance Manager

The important date rememberer, the mother hen, the clean desk queen
Linda’s our National Training and Compliance Manager here at Future Force. That’s a fancy way of saying she looks after all our training needs and material and makes sure everything complies with government requirements. Prior to this role, she clocked up 10 years’ experience in the International Freight Forwarding industry. She started out as a receptionist at a large wholesale freight forwarder and then worked for a couple of the industry’s largest multinational companies. Linda has a number of Transport and Logistics qualifications as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Proudest moment?
Watching my two little girls perform together on stage in their first dance concert.

Clay

Trainer and Assessor

The trainee turned trainer, the proud dog dad, the youthful flair
After starting his career as a trainee with Future Force back in 2018, Clay spent the next seven years building his expertise in the freight forwarding industry. Most of that time was spent with a multinational freight forwarder, where he specialised in import seafreight operations and stepped up into leadership roles, overseeing teams across the country. Now he’s come full circle, swapping ops for education and joining the Future Force team as a trainer. With multiple freight forwarding qualifications and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment under his belt, he’s all about sharing real-world knowledge with the next generation. Outside of work, he’s a one-eyed Collingwood supporter and proud dad to his dog, Jax.

Chriss

Accounts & Admin

The numbers whizz, the cat lover, the berry eater.
Chriss is the heartbeat of our accounts department. She controls all things payable and receivable as well as payroll. A long history in bookkeeping/accounts has provided the perfect platform for Chriss to keep the books, the customers, and the employees (trainees and temps) all happy and in line.

Best piece of advice?
Attention to detail is half the battle.

Richard

Founder and co-owner

The mentor, the fun lover, the jetsetter
Richard has been at the forefront of developments in the transport and logistics industry – in particular International Freight – for over 30 years. From his early days at QANTAS Freight, through various freight forwarding organisations (including co-founding Pace Express, the number one IATA forwarder in the late 80s early 90s) to his many, many travels, Richard’s experience is unparalleled. While now retired, he’s still our regular industry guru we can call on when needed. Luckily for us, he’s always happy to impart his wisdom to anyone who cares to seek it!
